Adult CPR, AED & First Aid Training
Emergencies rarely announce themselves.
They happen in kitchens, at family gatherings, in workplaces, in the quiet moments of ordinary life.
Someone collapses.
Someone stops breathing.
Someone needs help immediately.
In those moments, the people present become the first line of response.
Steady Response prepares individuals and families with the knowledge and practical training needed to act during medical emergencies.
Because confidence during crisis does not come from instinct.
It comes from preparation.
This training provides nationally recognized CPR, AED, and basic first aid education so participants understand how to respond when seconds matter.
Why This Class Matters
Many people assume emergencies will be handled by professionals.
But the truth is that the first few minutes of a medical emergency often happen before emergency responders arrive.
Knowing how to respond during those first moments can make a critical difference.
Steady Response ensures community members are prepared to act calmly and effectively during medical emergencies.
What You’ll Walk Away With
By the end of this class, participants will understand:
• how to perform adult CPR
• how to safely use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• how to recognize cardiac emergencies
• how to assist someone who is choking
• how to respond to common first aid situations
• when and how to activate emergency services
These skills transform uncertainty into readiness.
What We Practice Together
Adult CPR
Participants learn step-by-step CPR techniques that support circulation and breathing until professional help arrives.
Hands-on practice ensures participants feel comfortable performing the procedure.
AED Use
Automated External Defibrillators are designed to be used by the public, but many people feel hesitant using them.
This section teaches participants how AED devices work and how to use them safely during cardiac emergencies.
Choking Response
Participants learn how to recognize airway obstruction and perform the appropriate techniques to assist someone who is choking.
First Aid Awareness
Basic first aid knowledge helps individuals respond to common injuries and medical concerns.
Participants learn how to recognize situations that require immediate care and how to respond until help arrives.
